E-Learning helps provide flexibility for learners. They can complete it at their own time at their own pace. Below is a list of courses I have designed and developed:
As part of a job interview for Salesforce, I was asked to develop a 15-min Rest API Overview eLearning that explains RESTful architecture and APIs to their technology department. They audience was web developers who have extensive experience with front-end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
While working as an Instructional Designer for the Massachusetts Teachers Association, I created 4 online courses using Rise (Articulate 360). I was only given enough time to spend on one course: Data Security for Local Associations (35 hours). Due to the short deadline (3 courses in about 2 weeks), I recorded the SMEs using join.me and chunked down their recordings into short videos. We added knowledge checks and revised a resources page for performance support. Watch the tour to learn more.
In my role as an Instructional Designer at John Snow, Inc. I worked in a project to turn a face-to-face training form Dr. Policar into a self-paced eLearning. It was towards the end ofmy time at JSI, so I didn't get to finish the draft, but the examples below show you my process an the eLearning draft. It was going to be created using Articulate 09.
